Numbers 23:19 says that god is not a man that he should lie, or the son of man that he should change his mind (repent). However, there are some scriptures in the bible that show god changing his mind (Exodus 32, 2 Kings 3, 1 Chronicles 21, Jonah 3)and god himself says that he will change his mind of the evil he will send if his people repent of their current evil (Jeremiah 26).
