Walton County’s beach ambassador team, which works hand-in-hand with the county's code compliance team, is comprised of both full-time and seasonal employees, as well as a volunteer team with more than 200 members. As part of their efforts to educate and inform, our beach ambassadors also help keep our natural environments clean and pristine.

Founded in 1910, Santa Rosa Beach is the oldest and largest of the 16 beach neighborhoods in South Walton.
